The ALADDIN 3477 Kickstarter is complete!
A couple weeks ago, I finished shipping all of the remaining Swag Boxes and miscellaneous orders from the BackerKit! Everyone (including international backers) should now have all of their promised rewards!
If for some reason you didn't get something you think you were supposed to, please contact me and I'm happy to go through the BackerKit and make sure the issue is resolved.
So that's it?
That's it for shipping rewards. However, the BackerKit is staying open for a while, so if there is anything else you wanted that you didn't get during the initial campaign, now is the time to do so!

What's next for ALADDIN 3477?
I have more video content centered around the first film I'm currently working on. Videos like Behind-The-Scenes, Bloopers, and other fun things are in the pipeline. To not miss any, make sure you are subscribed to all my socials, as well as ALADDIN 3477's:
As you know, we filmed all 3 ALADDIN 3477 films at the same time. And there are (extremely rough) edits of both Movie 2 and 3! So the wait won't be anywhere as long as it was for the first one.
That said, there are a LOT of VFX, sound, and all the bells and whistles like color grading to do. I don't have an estimate for these, as some things take longer, but some things also go quicker than expected.
What I do know is that I'll be diving into Movie 2 soon, and taking the time to make it just right. It is my favorite of the 3 films after all!

Wow- this is one of those surreal things where all of this work and what we've tried to do feels REAL! The project is now on Wikipedia!
It's incredibly thorough, and I can confirm (at the moment) that everything on there is true!
You're probably wondering- I must have done this, right? No, actually, but full disclosure, I did know a little about it as it was happening. An awesome fan in the U.K. took the time to really research everything. He had some questions and reached out to me, which is how I knew about it.
As you probably know, Wikipedia is edited by the Internet, so this page will likely evolve over time. But it's worth checking out, as there are some wild facts (all compiled from existing material Online). It's rad to see so much all in one place! Give it a whirl!
What an incredible journey it's been. Since we began 2 and a half years ago, so much has happened. At the time, I didn't even know how the film would be distributed. Now, the film has been released on numerous streaming services, and physical media as well! Plus, and the fun books and toys and everything else that was the direct result of this campaign! Everything has exceeded my expectations.
But I couldn't have done it without YOU!

ALADDIN 3477: Your Blu-ray Aspect Ratio, Shipping Update!

Hello! First things last:
Shipping Update!
As of Thursday, all Kickstarter Swag Box 4: Lochan Loot's have been shipped! Keep in mind, this is for anyone who ordered the 4th Swag Box from the actual Kickstarter during the campaign.
If you ordered the 4th Swag Box directly from the BackerKit, I may not have gotten yours out yet, but will very soon.
Also, there are a few of you that have specific Add-On rewards I wasn't able to send until the4th Swag Box was released, so if you're waiting on those, they will be shipped very soon as well!
I'm hoping to have EVERYTHING shipped within a week. I'm dissecting through the BackerKit with a fine tooth comb. Bare with me, I'm going through each and every one of you to make sure I haven't missed anything.
Your Blu-Ray Aspect Ratio...
It's come to my attention that some of you may be experiencing an issue with the Aspect Ratio on your Blu-Ray, but I'm hoping the fix is simple, like it was for me.
Upon getting the Blu-ray a few weeks back, I couldn't wait to pop it in and see what it looked like in my home theater. While most of the assets played correctly, the film itself had a strange anamorphic squeeze. Everything was slightly skinny with black bars on the sides! I was so upset!
However, in the image settings on my Blu-ray player, under Aspect Ratio, mine was set to "16:9 Original", but had the option for "16:9 Full". That switch made it it full (wide) screen, full quality.
I was still bummed about it, but then I tested it in a couple other Blu-ray players, and it seemed to play just fine. So I assumed it must just be the player in my Home Theater which defaults to a goofy setting.
Well, I just heard from our first backer that they have experienced the exact same thing. Which is a bummer, because it means there are surely more of you who may be experiencing this.
My hope is anyone can easily adjust in settings if that's the case.
Barring that, there isn't a lot I can do. I have licensed the film to Buffalo 8, so for the next 7 to 10 years, they own it. While I'm mostly super happy with the experience, there are certain things I'm not in control of. In some cases, I was able to have the artwork and presentation exactly as I wanted with more control than a producer would normally have. In other cases, no control whatsoever (which is often the norm).
For example, I had created video menu pages for the Blu-ray and DVD which I wanted to have playing as people navigate through all of the features. I thought the way I had everything organized looked really cool and made it fun. But the discs were produced by a third party I wasn't able to have direct communication with. I was informed there would only be static images, and the organization and placement was not negotiable.
This was a bummer, especially since I already created the assets and assumed it would have been easy to include. But it is what it is, and sometimes that's just how it goes.
Had I made the Blu-rays (and handled distribution) myself, I would have had full control, but all in all, going with a distributor like Buffalo 8 has had waaaay more positives. It's exposed and delivered the film in many ways I never would have been able to do by myself.
Anyway, my hope is your Blu-ray plays the correct Aspect Ratio! If not, I hope you are able to adjust in the Aspect Ratio settings!

Early Bird Lochan's Loot: I got midway into these, but then was on hiatus for the last week and a half.
As some of you know, my day job is being a full-time professor of Creative Imaging & Illustration in the Media & Communication Arts department at Macomb College. At the beginning of the academic school year, I'm pretty busy day and night prepping the classrooms and Online Canvas for each course, scheduling models for figure illustration classes, meetings with administration, meeting with students in person and over Zoom, and dozens of other random bits of academic governance.
I apologize if you are one of the fine backers still waiting. I was hoping the Blu-rays arrived earlier in the summer when I had all the time in the world! I really appreciate your patience and the good news is this week I'll be getting back to getting the rest of these out!
The word I've been getting so far is that everyone is really happy with Swag Box 4, and with the overall Kickstarter Campaign in general. I'm so happy to hear that! I'm so grateful for your support and it's been incredibly fun for me as you would expect!

Hello Backers!
Just a quick update to report that ALL of the Executive Producer reward tier Swag Box 4s have been shipped!
I'm almost done packing all of the Aladdin's Inner Circle reward tier Swag Boxes- those should all be going out before the end of the day!

And that will complete and fulfill the ALADDIN 3477 Kickstarter Campaign!

The biggest of which is Rotten Tomatoes. Here you can see their list (back in February) of the most buzz worthy Fantasy films streaming in 2025. You’ll notice that they all have Tomato scores (critics) and Popcorn meters (audience ratings), except for Aladdin 3477.
That’s because we haven’t had enough people review the film to even qualify for the the ratings! So we need your help!

FINALLY! You all have been so patient, but I'm happy to report that the ALADDIN 3477: The Jinn of Wisdom DVDs and Blu-rays are here!

SWAG BOX 4 begins assembling TODAY!
I am PREPARED! All of the other physical rewards that come with Swag Box 4 are here, including the Art Book, which I know you're going to love!
I also have all of the additional rewards for those of you who are in the Skysail Sky Club, and Aladdin's Inner Circle!
Plus, I already have the Swag Box packaging (a new size from the previous boxes) and I've already put the FIDGI Stamp image on them all!

Sure! If you send me a message letting me know you'd prefer a DVD, I can make a note in the BackerKit so that you'll get that instead.
